Tips for first sailors

Here are some tips for first time sailors

• It is recommended that you dress warmly and appropriately. Make sure that you have all necessary equipment with you. Check out our blog what to pack when going on sailing holidays.
• Safety is the most important thing. Every boat has a life jacket. If you feel that it is necessary to wear one, ask the skipper for the life jacket,
• Do not stand on any ropes or sheets and do not let the rope get wrapper around your legs and hands.
• Keep your hands and fingers clear of blocks and winches where ropes or sheets are.
• Do not keep your phone in your pocket, so it doesn't fall our of your pocket and go overboard.
• Don not drop or throw anything overboard.
• Do not step on board with shoes
